Windows 10: Weird Symbols on Search Bar windows 11

Weird symbols start appearing when I type something in the search bar.I have 100% scale in settings default is 125% does this affect the text?

Weird Search Bar Bug

So basically when I opened up my windows, I was opening discord in the search bar when I was greeted with this







So I searched it up and there were only 3 results and none of them worked. I tried deleting and reloading the icon cache it didn't work, I restarted, I shut down and turn on, none of them worked. Anyone know how to fix it?

From the description, I understand that you are still receiving the pop up notifications, despite having disabled the search functionality in windows 10.

Steps to disable the Search Bar

• Right click on the task bar.
• Select the "Search" option.
• Select "Disable."

However, if the above steps don't work out, perform the below suggested steps and check if it helps to resolve the issue.

Open a CMD window started as Administrator.

Repair corruption: Dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth.

Run this command next: Sfc /scannow

Now run these two commands:

PowerShell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted

Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers |Where-Object {$_.InstallLocation -like "*SystemApps*"} | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

I ran across a post that recommends Hitting "CTRL+R" when in Discord to reset and refresh the GUI. Give it a try.
