So, Windows 10. So far so good. There's just one small problem.

For starters, the background colour to these tooltips doesn't change when I change the colour in the Personalisation menu. But that's more of a secondary issue.

The primary problem is that weird transparent edge around the tooltip. When I first installed, I had something similar around the start menu. A restart fixed that problem. Now I experience these transparent edges around those tooltips and also at the edge of the notifications sidebar.

I have no idea what it might be. I never used a transparency workaround when I was running Windows 8.1, and that's about the only thing I can think of.

Any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    :)

  2. Right Click response Delay

A buggy context menu shell extension is causing the problem in most probably. See Method 2 in this page to narrow down the culprit.

  3. How to override MS Edge right click menu?

I have a web application that presents a custom context menu when I right-click certain items. This worked fine on Google Chrome and on old versions of Internet Explorer, but I find that in MS Edge, a right-click brings up Microsoft's context menu instead
of mine. Is there a way to override Microsoft's context menu?

    Thanks for any help.

The jump list colour is standard behaviour.

For graphical problems like those borders, my first port of call is always the video card drivers.

Windows 8 had wider window borders, so I'm wondering whether it's due to Microsoft not changing the borders properly? I noticed that Internet Explorer edges keep showing gaps on the left and right hand side as well (when IE windows are full screen, but not maximised) and the gaps are about the size borders used to be.

That was one of the first things that I did. My laptop has both Intel and AMD graphics drivers, and both are as up-to-date as they're getting.

Are you running a 'bordered' theme?

Evidently I was! I hadn't even thought to change the theme *Smile I switched it to the default Windows theme in Theme Settings and that seemed to solve the problem for me. Thanks!
