Windows 10: Weird wifi bug

When I am using my pc it randomly decides that I can no longer load new things on the wifi, things I am connected to still work but if I refresh the page for instance, it stops working my pc still says im connected with ethernet and it fixes if I restart my pc but it's happened multiple times anyone know what this is and how to fix

Thanks for your answer.

I followed your two steps.

For step 1 : the box was already unchecked.

For step 2 : the driver had already the latest version.

I don't know if the problem is really from the wifi adapter, it seems like a display bug more than a connection bug.

How very weird of them... this is truely odd IMO.

would be nice to see a list from them of suggested products, or even bundle the card with products that are right for it, like a killer NIC, wifi card, phsyx card, SSD etc.

One of the possible reasons why WiFi keeps on dropping is due to driver failure. We recommend that you update the drivers, follow the steps below:

Step 1:

• Right-click the WiFi icon on your task bar > Click Open Network and Sharing Center.
• Click Change adapter settings > Right-click you WiFi adapter > Select
  Properties.
• Hit Configure > Go to Power Management tab > Uncheck the box for
  Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.
• Click OK.

Step 2:

• Press Windows key + X > Select Device Manager.
• Expand Network adapters > Right-click your wireless network adapter driver > Click Update Driver.
• Follow the on-screen instructions > Restart your PC.
