Windows 10: Weird Windows 10 background glitch

Discus and support Weird Windows 10 background glitch in Windows 10 Ask Insider to solve the problem; So today while using my pc I wanted to play a game, but as soon as I launched it my background turned black.     Weird Windows 10 background glitch


    So today while using my pc I wanted to play a game, but as soon as I launched it my background turned black. I went to settings to change it back but whenever I click on something I have like a 5 second delay, anyway after I got to the background section I tried to change it back but it won't let me, when I select a picture, after a couple of seconds it just switches from picture to solid color. Can someone please help me

    Also: I checked and my windows and all of my drivers are updated

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    Windows 10 desktop background glitch?

    This issue you are facing usually occur due to the display driver is out dated. Let’s try the simple steps and check if this helps to resolve the issue. I would suggest you to update the Display driver from Device Manager manually. Follow the below steps:

    • Press (Windows key + X) and click on “Device Manager”.
    • Expand “Display Adapter”.
    • Right click on the device and select update.
    • Once update is done, restart the computer.

    Weird Windows 10 background glitch

    Weird background in Windows 10

    Ever since I switched to a custom background, I've been experiencing some problems.

    My Windows 10 Background Is supposed to look like:

    But if a fullscreen program runs, a UAC Windows pops up, etc, It will look like:
