Windows 10: Weird? Windows Defender Interface Behaviour

Hey there, I've noticed something today while using Windows Defender and it seems weird to me, i'm not sure whether it is intended or not. So, when you open Windows Security tabfrom tray icons for example and then go to Virus & Threat Protection there is a Quick Scan button which does exactly that and lauchnes Quick Scan, no problem there. And if you go into Scan Options, that button disappears, instead presenting you with different Scan options to choose from. What seems weird is that when you start any of the first three scansQuick, Full or Custom and Cancel the Scan the page now sud

Weird Windows Defender behaviour regarding ParalaxRAT

Windows version is 20H2, OS Build 19042. 1348

It's been a few days since this WD mahyem started. I think it speaks for itself. The scan from Malwarebytes (free version) is not reporting anything.




To be more specific, here's what the details say:




It also did let me remove every single one of them, until this last one, which is just not getting removed even when I click.
I'm kinda worried

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

  Click Troubleshooting. Click Run programs made for previous versions of Windows.

  Click next, select Not Listed. Click Next.
  
• 
  Click Browse and select the installer that you downloaded using the link above.
  
• 
  Click next, click Troubleshoot program.
  
• 
  Check The program worked in earlier versions of Windows but won't install or run now box.
  
• 
  Click next, select the last known working operating system for this driver.

For Visual Studio.

I suggest you to install the Visual Studio in compatibility mode and check if it helps.

Follow the steps below on how to install software in compatibility mode:

1. Download the software from the manufacturer’s website and save it on your local disk.

2. Right click on the setup file of the software and select “Properties”.

3. Select “Compatibility” Tab.

4. Place a check mark next to “Run this program in Compatibility mode” and select operating system from the drop down list.

5. Let the software install and then check the functionality.

Weird behaviour with updates

Yeah, that's cool,
Also, in this new version of windows 10 (2004) ,he can pause the updates for 5 weeks.
Or limit bandwidth for the update. (Advanced options > Delivery Optimization > Advanced Options )

And If you don't like getting disturbed by updates, then you might want to disable those options.
