Windows 10: Weirdly keyboard isnt fully working for microsoft services

I have an asus G17 2023I downloaded Asus's keyboard update and this issue started like 1-2weeks after that so i dont think that caused the issue.I setup a pin for my laptop and when i open my laptopnormal opening, i did not opened the setting that makes computer fully closes and reopens i get the normal welcoming page and i can not click enter to go to the place where i will enter my pin. I need to slide my mouse then enter my pin and weirdly numpad works fine.When i unlock my laptop i can open google like what im doing rn and type. But i can not type anything in search bar unless some tim

Touch keyboard not working

Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community.

Please confirm the following things for me.

1. May I know the make and model of your system?
   
2. Was there any major change on your system prior to which you were able to use the touch keyboard without any issues?
   

I would suggest you to check with the services again, there are a few dependency services that will need to be checked. Please follow the steps below.

1. Press the ‘Windows’ key and ‘R’ key together, this will open the ‘Run’ dialogue box.
   
2. Type in ‘services.msc’ and press enter. This will open the ‘Services’ panel, in the list of services, find ‘Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Panel Service’.
   
3. Right-click and select ‘Properties’. In the ‘General’ tab, change the ‘Startup type’ to ‘Automatic’ and click on ‘Start’.
   
4. Click on the ‘Dependencies’ tab, expand the ‘Remote Procedure Call (RPC)’ and check the related services. You will find two services related to the ‘Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Panel Service’. Click on ‘Ok’, return to the ‘Services’
   window.
   
5. Find the two services namely, ‘DCOM Server Process Launcher’ and ‘RPC Endpoint Mapper’. Start the services if they aren’t running and the ‘Startup type’ to automatic and click on ‘Ok’.
   
6. Please check this link to ‘Open the touch keyboard’ and check if it works
   out for you.

Keyboard working weirdly

Hi team,

I have Lenovo Thinkpad E450 with Windows 10 installed. From past few days I was experiencing some troubles with my keyboard keys.

few keys are working weirdly as stated below.

1. Enter Key: When I press enter key it perform two operations first its performs enter operation as well as open Find in browser.

2. Backspace Key: Backspace key is not deleting everything while long pressing and suddenly opening start menu option. In

Ease of access section, filter key is already off.

3. Spacebar Key: Space bar key is also working weirdly, when i press it between a certain word it automatically going next to the letter after providing space.

4. Right Arrow Key: This key is also working as Spacebar key. Other three arrow key is working fine.

5. Window Key: By pressing windows key start menu is not coming up. Windows+L or windows+R working fine.

Please provide me a proper solution related to the issues mentioned above.

Keyboard not working...

well damn. i missed that somehow.

All i can suggest is that if the keys keep failing, wiggle the cord, try another port... and get another keyboard. return it, RMA it, sell it, whatever. Grab a logitech or microsoft keyboard, and suffer no more!
