Windows 10: WerFault.exe Application Error

Hi, I have an error every time I open some specific programs. Some programs are fine its just that some of them don't work and give me an error saying

The instruction at 0x0000000068E468C6 referenced memory at 0x0000000000000214. The memory could not be read.

Click on OK to terminate the program

I've tried everything: Checking my RAM, Disabling Windows Error Reporting, System File Checker and Virus scans but none of these work. I get a few of these errors when I boot onto my desktop as well. Please help *Sad

Cannot open apps and also instyallers after installing a new build

Hello,

After the latest PC build, some of my applications wont open, even some installers.

For example I am getting following:

WerFault.exe - Application ErrorWerFault.exe - Application Error

The instruction at 0x00007FFEBD755377 referenced memory at

0xFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF. The memory could not be read.

Click on OK to terminate the program

FSReader.exe - Application ErrorFSReader.exe - Application Error

The instruction at 0x00007FFEBD755377 referenced memory at

0xFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF. The memory could not be read.

Click on OK to terminate the program

OK

After those 2 dialogs, everything closes.

You have multiple versions of Java installed, which could be causing problems, all outdated.
Uninstall all of them and install the latest x86 - JRE 8 Update 92 - Java JRE Download

 

Still have the same problem after uninstalling my versions of java and installing the latest one.

You are using 2400 MHz as XPM.

Please disable XMP, let the RAMs run at 2133 MHz. See what happens. Let us know.

 

So I just checked the bios and it says that XMP is disabled already. When I booted my PC up today, there was no message about the Werfault error and I'm not sure what fixed it. Thank you for helping me though *Smile

Oh it seems like it only happens sometimes. I've rebooted the PC twice now and the error come back.

WerFault.exe is the windows error reporting mechanism. And the explanation ....
Code: The instruction at 0x0000000068E468C6 referenced memory at 0x0000000000000214[/quote] .... is a common one; it does not contain any specific information.

We need a starting point. Please let us see a report following the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions . The files generated by the process will give a closer look at the system and will give us a primary idea about what is going on there.

Also, programs don't show the error and work normally sometimes if I run it as an administrator. But I can't run all programs as administrator. Some background processes also show the error but I can't run all of the background processes in administrator as some may start up with my system.
