Windows 10: [WES7] Cannot Boot/Repair System

So I have a installation of Windows Embedded 7 64bit and for whatever reason the system now boot loops. It will start up as usual then display "Please wait" with a loading circle and then the system reboots, and this cycle continues no matter what keys are pressed.I installed and setup a windows 7 installation media hoping that maybe I could use it to correct any corrupt or missing files the installation needed, but obviously... It was not compatible with the WES7.So I located a copy of WES7 installation media and used the WINPE to attempted to recover/repair the installation. I used both DISM

KB4530692 (Standalone security-only update) - RTSS ERROR on WES7

When following the steps for the KB4530692 Security-only update on an offline Windows Embedded Standard 7 I get the error "RtssRun was unable to start the RTSS application provided. The binary file may be corrupted." The error occurs when I try to install
KB4474419 (SHA2). I have considered stopping the RTSS process altogether, run the update, and restart the process after the update. I have also considered running the update on an online WES7 machine, copying the trusted certificates and keys and import them
to the offline WES7.

My concern is that shutting off the RTSS process or importing the trusted certificates from somewhere else could lead to a vulnerability or worse. Can anyone please shed some light on the matter or suggest another solution? Thanks.

 

laptop doesnt boot automatically

This is what happened.

1. Did a repair install and later disabled hibertnate in CMD.
2. Enabled legacy option ROM in BIOS.
3. After a few times startup ( i used the system in such mode for 5 days), changed boot option back to default.
4. Vola!! It boots automatically to win10 without any keypress. Tested it with many starts to confirm the same.
5. Re-enabled hibernate option using CMD and later selected Fast Startup.
6. System booted normally, without the need for any keypress.

I do not know exactly whether such steps resolved the problem or what else happened, hence cannot suggest above steps.

The issue occurs due to an
unfinished update process which
corrupted the system files. We suggest that you try these troubleshooting
methods and run the update again:

Method 1:
Run SFC Scan.

To run an
SFC scan, follow these steps:

• 
  Run
  Command Prompt as Administrator.
  
• 
  Type
  sfc /scannow
  and hit
  Enter.
  

This will check and run an auto-repair on the issue.

Method 2:
Run DISM Tool.

After running the
SFC scan
and the issue still persist, run the
DISM
to check the system health and to try restoring the files. To run
DISM tool, follow these steps:

• 
  Run
  Command Prompt as Administrator.
  
• 
  Type the following command:
  
  • 
    DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /scanhealth
    
  • 
    DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
    

NOTE:
This might take a while
to finish scanning.
Do not cancel.
