Windows 10: WH-CH700N bad headset audio quality for youtube and other games and anything that makes...

So I have a problem for my WH-CH700N wireless headset to were no matter what I do the audio stay the same no matter how high or low I put it but also recently my mic on it started working and thats when it started and now Im having worser audio quality but its the same and sounds good when I first restart my computer then it sounds bad plz help I've looked everywhere to find a guide

Poor sound quality Bluetooth Sony WH-CH700N with Windows 10

Hi guys,

I have just bought a new Wireless Noise Cancelling Headset Sony WH-CH700N. No problem in pairing it with Windows10 however the sound quality when connected via Blootooth is absolutely outrageous. It is great when connected with cable though.

Do you think it is somehow possible to improve the audio quality when in Bluetooth?

Bluetooth Headset - Windows 10 - appearing as Bluetooth hands-free

I recently bough the following Headset:

WH-CH700N

Essentially it works in terms of connecting etc and bonding via Bluetooth.

The issue lies with windows picking this up as a Bluetooth hands-free device.

This I think is part of the problem, furthermore, under sound control there is the following options,

WH-CH700N Stereo and WH-CH700N Hands-free AG Audio.

Under recording devices its the WH-CH700N Hands-free AG Audio.

Putting all of this together I have the following options:

• use the Handsfree option but suffer with low quality sound through headset (channel 1)
• Use the Stereo as default - which means good quality sound (channel 2) - but also means that the device no longer has any Mic associated with it.
  

Furthermore, searching across the web, it was noted to disable hands free "under services, under device manager". However this just means that it defaults to the Stereo every time and the hands free (which includes a Mic) does not work.

I have also connected a USB blutooth device (running V10) as supposed to the internal, but still not luck. I have re-installed the device multiple times with reboots and removing it from devices.

Please can someone help here with any suggestion? I have tried our 3 other different BT Headsets!

The TT-BH03, the MDR-XB650BT, the Mpow Cheetah!

Every Headset has the same Problem!!

The headsets have no windows drivers!

For Example the WH-CH700N you will just find Android and IOS drivers

There must be a solution for this Problem, and i see there are more people with the same Problem.

What i already found out is,

it is possible to just use the microphone (Audio-In) and select the Plugged in Speakers for Aufio Out so you can here VOIP together with every other sound on the Speakers. Why is it not possible to get the same Output on the WH-CH700N Stereo? As soon i
join a Teamspeak Server i cant here anythin on the WH-CH700N Stereo!

please help me....

 

Bad headphone quality (WH-207)

Hi Mark,

Thanks for your reply. This is what I've done so far:

• Used the same headphone (WH-207) on another phone (Nokia 701 / Symbian OS). Works good, no issues. Quality is good.
• Used another headphone (from Blackberry) on my Windows Phone 620. Works good, no issues. Quality is good.
• Changed the equalizer settings. Makes no difference when using WH-207. Speech seems to be far away resp. is hardly hearable. Music is quite good. Pressing one of the headphone's buttons resolves this issue completely, i.e. then the overal quality is good.
• Deleted the IE history. Issue persists.
• Made a soft reset. Issue persists.

Conclusion: Looks as if the WH-207 is somehow affected on the Lumia phone only and the two buttons play a certain role concerning this issue as keeping one of the buttons pressed resolves the issue.

Here are the other parameters:

• Make and model of your phone: Nokia Lumia 620
• Current OS version: 8.10.14192.280
• Current firmware revision: 3058.50000.1425.00006
• Country you are located in: Switzerland
• Regional setting of your phone: Switzerland (German)
• Language setting of your phone: German
• Speech setting of your phone: German
• Make and model of the headphones you are using: Nokia Stereo Headset WH-207
• Type of music this happens with, MP3 from your personal collection, DRM protected content from a Music Pass or both: I just have MP3 files. They're affected. Also watching video clips from Youtube causes the same issue.
• When did you first notice this, since the first time you tried these headphones, after installing the developer preview, after updating the phone with the recent critical update, other? I cannot say this exactly, as this is the first time that I'm using
  these headphones. Before, I was listening to music by using the speakers of the phone.
