    What a difference fibre makes!


    I live in an urban area with dense housing. The estate is huge with thousands of properties, and starting a few months ago, we had Virgin Fibre installed in all the streets.
    Last Friday, the fibre was extended to the house and a fitter installed the rest inside. I opted for tv, phone and broadband, and the cost was free supply and fitting and less than half the monthly outlay that Sky was charging.
    The biggest difference is the broadband speed. I have just downloaded an ISO of W10 64 and it took under three minutes for just under 5 Gb. That is THIRTY times as fast as my old connection!*Biggrin

    So, I mentioned that New Year's is 12 hours away for me. Check out the details of this flight from Japan. They left Japan in 2020, will arrive in the United States in 2019, and will be able to celebrate New Year's again 7 hours after they arrive here.
