Windows 10: What am I doing wrong

Ok, so my brother somehow bugged his laptop two years ago and stopped using it, and then when I was trying to fix it, the laptop was stuck on automatic repair. It was like that for 3 weeks, so I decided to fully reset it, and the laptop wouldn’t allow me, so I’d tried to completely wipe it by installing&

I may be missing something, but I think what's being suggested is you use the arrow to choose another different method other then 'phone number' such as email or an authentication app, whatever's on the drop down list that's not a phone number.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.
