Windows 10: What are some reliable third party license resellers? (If there's such thing...)

So, I need one or two Windows Pro licenses to a couple of my personal use VM's. I used a student license for a long time, but I'm not currently enrolled in college, so I don't get to use a free Windows 10 license.

I appreciate the time I got to use Windows for free, but when I went to check the Microsoft website, as someone who lives in a third world country, that price seems like it was set with the intention of being deliberately prohibitive.

I mean, for the price on the Microsoft website I could buy a somewhat decent laptop that already comes with Windows 10.

So I did some research and found out about third party sellers. They claim to sell genuine Windows 10 copies for a fraction of what Microsoft charges. I don't know how that works (do they have a deal with Microsoft, doesn't Microsoft wants people buying Windows 10 directly at their website?

However I read that some people had troubles to activate Windows after buying from a third party reseller (I don't know which ones). So I would like to know, first, if this is a legal practice, and if so, what are the more reliable resellers that I could use.

Good LAN party games?

Most of my suggestions have already been listed.

However, I found Swat4 to actually be a pretty fun LAN game, especially at smaller LAN parties.

 

OEM Licensing

Hi there,

We are system builders, deploying lots of devices that are running Windows 10.

Currently, we must obtain OEM licensing from a reseller, and require being sent a USB for each licence we require.

We would like access to the facility to:

• Purchase Windows licenses for resale in bulk at a discount
• Deploy with OEM tools
• Access the licences easily, without having to purchase through another reseller or require USB drives being sent out to us

I have spent a very long time searching through the Microsoft Partners website, as well as reading through forum posts.

I've come across 1 useful post reply from a Microsoft rep that links to all the requirements and certifications of becoming a licence reseller, however the post reply was from 2007, and all the links are broken.

Can anyone please advise:

• Certification requirements of becoming authorised to resell Microsoft licenses
• What method of managing license keys/purchasing is available to these resellers.
