Windows 10: What are the benefit of changing hwid

I just seen alot of people asking if their can change their hwid, i thought its not possible, but i guess i ill have to ask the higher up like this community, im pretty sure there are some cons when changing

i used a spoofer and it changed the hwid is there any way to change or reset the hwid again?

And if I use the spoofer again, will I change the hwid again?

HWID keeps changing on windows 11

hello.

since the latest update on windows several server host and API writers report the HWID keeps changing on every restart.

it was suggested by the microsoft team for me to post a example.

we run several game servers and are testing the new opporating system to see if it benefits us.

so far the biggest issue we run into is our HWID changes on every restart.

things ive tried:

change the order of network adapters

update all drivers

reinstall all drivers

reinstall windows

so the current order from the network adapters in the advanced tab is:

microsoft remote desktop session

microsoft windows network

web client network

plan 9 network provider



default the plan 9 network provider was on top

changing the order worked in the past on windows 7 but seems to have no affect now

HWID change

How can I reset my HWID? Some games I play are detecting that I'm spoofing my HWID to evade a ban, which I'm not. Is there a way I can revert to my original HWID?
