Windows 10: What are the conditions of using windows without buying a product key?

Hello to microsoft community. I have an important question.If I download the windows and in installing process, I click "I don't have a product key", then can I use my pc for my personal daily works? I accept being unable to change wallpaper and the watermark. But can I boot my pc to use internet and test my pc and then use it? Because I live in Iran and I'm unable to buy windows directly from microsoft and I have to either use it in this way or I have to buy it from third party sellers who sell legally original windows if they are right. Also using cracked windows here is too simple and usual

How to retain the lost product key?

There is nothing you can do. The software itself is nothing. All of the money is in the product key. Throw that away and the only recourse is to buy Windows again in order to get a new key.

I suggest you to Uninstall the license using the following steps.

• Press Windows key + X
• Click Command Prompt (Admin)
• At the command prompt, type: slmgr.vbs -upk
• Press Enter, this will uninstall the product key from the computer.

Further on, install Windows 8.1 activate the copy with the product key on the new machine. Then again upgrade the same to Windows 10 using Window Update or Media Creation Tool.

I have Windows 10 home installed on my computer which it is not activated.
