Hello all!Internal and external disks receive an assigned number to them: Harddisk#, DR# in Windows. These numbers can be seen in Windows Event Logs>>disk errors.Do assigned disk numbers Harddisk#, DR# of the internal disks change when I plug and unplug my external drives or change the Boot order in BIOS? I want to know how to relate past disk errors from Windows Event Log with my disks. Is there a way to be certain which disk had an error from the past, when other disks were plugged, and possible boot order was changed?Thank you in advance for your help!

Windows 10 Firewall won't keep my inbound/outbound rules

I realize the inconvenience caused to you regarding the Windows Firewall. I will certainly assist you.

I suggest you to restart the Windows firewall service and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps for the same.

• Press Windows key + R simultaneously for Run.
• Type services.msc and then Enter.
• Right click on the Windows firewall services and then restart the services and check if it helps.

If the issue still persists then I suggest you to remove and then read the Windows fire wall rule.

Assign monitor Numbers

Hi,

If you're pertaining to making Acer screen as the monitor 1 and the other is 2, you can just have them interchanged by going following the steps below:

• Right-click on your desktop screen > Display settings.
• Under "Select and rearrange displays", just drag the monitor basing on your choice of number; then, click on "Apply" button after.

Possible to re-assign monitor identities/numbers?


I finally got it to work no changing registry or anything. I went to nvidia control pannel. First I cloned it on NCP Then made 2 my primary in NCP then went back to win 10 advanced settings and chose extend these displays. I had to reset the resolution. but it worked. If these aren't the exact steps the then tinker with it you will get it.

It took me a couple tries to get it. but Nvidia Control Panel is the the key to fixing the issue. Final result extended display on hdmi connected tv and monitor is the primary.*Cool
