Windows 10: What can I do so that my driver can recognizes my monitor...

Hi, I have been having issue with xp pen. I just started using Windows 11 and I can not use my tablet pen at all. I have had downloaded the latest driver for my Artist 222nd Gen, and the monitor does work nut the driver still shows that I have to connect it. Even through its connect and working a

Laptop suddenly stopped recognizing the external monitor

To assist you better, I would like to ask if the laptop is unable to recognize only the external monitor or other external devices also.

I suggest you to run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter by following the steps below:

• Click on the Start button, and type “Troubleshooting” on the search bar.
• Click on “Hardware and Devices”.
• A pop-up will appear, click on the “Next” button and your hardware troubleshooting will start.

Second monitor not recognized (drivers updated)

I have a Laptop with a AMD Rayzen 5 3500U with graphics integrated radion vega 8. I’m using a usb dock hub to connect the second monitor. This same escenario has been reproduced on another laptop and the second monitor works just fine, but in this particular laptop is not detecting the monitor.

I tried switching monitors on both HDMI ports, and always the one connected on the usb hub doesn’t work. I have noticed that everything i unplug and plug the HDMI cable, the monitor detects the connection. However the Pc won’t recognize it. Any suggestions? I have the latest driver for the graphics card. I also tried detecting the monitor from the settings display.

windows not recognizing second monitor

Windows may not recognize another external display device if the display drivers are outdated, or that the monitor is turned off or not plugged in correctly, etc. For us to isolate the issue in connecting a second monitor in Windows 10, kindly respond to
the questions below:

• Have you made any significant changes to your device prior to the issue?
• Did the second monitor work before?
• Have you tried using the monitor to a different computer?
• What happens if you disconnect your primary monitor and connect the second monitor to make it the main monitor?
