Windows 10: What can I do to activate my friend's device?

Last year I built a PC for a friend of mine and purchased windows 11 home to install on the computer. Now that my friend has this PC I built and installed windows for, it is suddenly telling him that windows is not activated on his device. error code is 0xC004F034. I'm fairly certain this happened because I purchased this key on my windows account, and he does not have a windows account with which to log in. I believe I may need to add his device to my microsoft devices, but this PC does not have a serial number as it is a self built computer. Is there a way to add this device despite that fac

Current active users that are friends

I think it would be nice if when viewing the current active users on the main forum page if the members you are "friends" with were a different color (e.g. yellow) instead of having a "+" after their name. Would make it a lot easier to spot them, especially when there are a lot of members online

Follow either of these steps to fix the issue with the Active window hiding behind.

Method 1:
I suggest you to disable window by hovering over it with the mouse and check if it helps. To do so I suggest you to try the below given steps and check if it helps:

1. Press Windows key + X key and click on Control Panel.
2. Select or click Ease of Access.
3. Click or tap onEase of Access Centre.
4. Click on Make the Mouse Easier to Use was uncheck Activate Window by hovering over it with the mouse.
5. Check if issue is resolved.

Method 2:
I would suggest you to completely uninstall the touchpad driver and reinstall it. Kindly follow the below given steps.

1. Press “Windows key + X” and click on “Device Manager”.
2. In the list of devices, you should see the touchpad drivers.
3. Right click on the device and then select "Uninstall".
4. In the uninstall dialog, make sure you select the option to delete the driver package from the system. This causes the driver package installed earlier to be deleted.
5. In the Action menu of Device manager, select “Scan for Hardware changes” option. This will cause the device driver to be reinstalled. Once the driver is installed, close all windows and restart the computer.

 

Current active users that are friends

Perhaps a stupid question, but what is the friends feature used for anyway? What is the added value of instantly knowing you added someone to your friends list?
