Windows 10: what can i do to fix my ctrl key

so my ctrl key is activating on push but not virtually releasing i have to push it again for it to work. this is very frustrating on games like gta and it does wheelies randomly and not every click get the bike down so i fall and have to get bakc up cause of the stupid key

Method 1: To check if Ctrl keys work in Onscreen keyboard.

• Press Windows Key + R and type osk and hit Enter.

Try using Ctrl keys and check if that helps.

if you still face the issue, try Method 2.

Method 2: Run the Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with hardware and devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with the Bluetooth adapter. Refer these steps:

  Press Windows key + X, select
  Control panel.

  Change the view by option on the top right to
  Large icons.
  
• 
  Click on troubleshooting and click on the
  view all option on the left panel.

How to fix CTRL+S shortcut key?

CTRL keys flashing or misbehaving

Hi,

My name is Mohammed Shuaib, an Independent Advisor and I'm here to assist you in resolving the CTRL keys flashing issue. I would suggest applying the below fixes one by one to resolve the issue.

Fix #1:

Step 1:

Go to search box next to Windows icon and type CMD

Step 2:

Right-click on Command Prompt and select Run As Administrator

Step 3:

Type msdt.exe -id DeviceDiagnostic and press enter.

Step 4:

Restart PC

Fix #2:

Step 1:

Go to search box next to Windows icon and type Troubleshoot

Step 2:

Click on Troubleshoot

Step 3:

Then select Keyboard and click Run the Troubleshooter

Step 4:

Restart PC
