Windows 10: What can I do to return to normal speed?

Hello,I’ve turned on my laptop that was running just normal yesterday to find it being extremely slow during startup and doing normal functions opening folders, settings, refreshing etc.I’ve run Malwarebytes and Microsoft Defender quick scan couple of times but no virus was found. I’ve used CCleaner to get rid of junk files and cache from the applications I am using, yet no difference.Health report from Windows says that I need no actions to perform.I’ve also entered Safe Mode, it was slightly better but still laggy and slow.When I open task manager right after starup 39% usage goes to th

Do you face this issue while moving the mouse cursor normally on the desktop screen?

If yes, I suggest you to follow the below steps in order to slow down the mouse cursor speed.

• Go to control panel.
• Click on mouse.
• under pointers options tab adjust the pointer speed, click
  apply and ok

i do believe that i was the problem steam, discord and other apps show their speed in bytes not bits and after updating the windows store it has returned to normal thank you for your help though as these steps have boosted my download speed a little
