    What can somebody do with an Public IP adress?


    Hello.I got IP grabbed a month ago, and my public IP was shown to the perpetrator who sent me the IP grabbing link. I've been worried to death about it, scared I might get DDOS'ed, cyberbullied, and cyberstalked. I was threatened by the dude that he would post my IP to youtube, the dark web, discord, etc. I'm still extremely worried, but I'm curious what can somebody do with an public IP?

    IP adress

    For your public IP, visit hereismyip.com.

    For your private IP, if any, there are several ways to check.

    1. Your WiFi router's DHCP status may list the current leasing IPs including the one for your phone.

    2. You may install Nokia Device Status if your phone is compatible.

    3. If your VoIP is enabled, the IP address is shown in SIP status.

    Google 'What's my IP' - is your public IP address the same as it was previously
