  1. What causes Authenticamd.sys crashes?

So, I finally managed to discover that my last crashes created some minidumps on the folder "LiveKernelReports"As you guys can see, the cause of the crash is related to AMD. I just upgraded the drivers, but the crashes are random and Idk if it fixed. Can it be PSU causing it? Or a faulty CPU? Or GPU? I've been suffering from this since March, when I upgrade both GPU and PSU. Saddly, I can't RMA any of my PC stuff because they are off warranty and can't buy newer ones because I don't have any $$$. But I want to solve it.Here my last Whea minidump:WHEA-20230907-2255.dmp

    Laptop crashes caused by 'rtkvhd64.sys'

    Hi Regal,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

To have a better clarity on this issue and guide you accordingly, kindly help us with the following information:

    • What is the make and model of the laptop?
    • Which build of Windows 10 is installed on the machine?

(Search winver from the Start menu to know the same)
    • Does the computer boot to the desktop?
    • Are you aware of any changes that happened on the computer prior to which this issue started to occur?

Upon analyzing the crash dump files, seems like the crash is caused by
rtkvhd64.sys. I suggest you to try the methods listed below and check if it works.

    Method 1

I suggest you to uninstall the Realtek HD Audio drivers
installed on the machine and let Windows to search for the update and install the updated drivers.

    • Right click the Windows icon on the taskbar and choose
      Device Manager.

    • Expand Sound, video and game controllers and locate
      Realtek HD Audio drivers.
    • Right click on it and choose Uninstall.
    • Check the box Delete the driver software for my device
and reboot the machine to see if the issue persists.

If the issue persists, try Method 2

    Method 2

If letting windows to install the drivers automatically doesn’t resolve the issue, you may install the latest audio drivers from PC manufacturer’s website and see if it resolves the issue.

Meanwhile, you may also want to go through Troubleshoot blue screen errors
    and see if it helps.

If the issue persists, revert to us with the latest crash dump file.

Let us know how it goes.

    Regards,

GPU-Z 0.7.5 causing crashes on load up

Any chance you could narrow it down to which running application causes GPU-Z to crash? Ideally steps to reproduce for me here.

    What causes Authenticamd.sys crashes?

    Random Reboots / Crashes (AuthenticAMD)

Hello, I have been having many random reboots / crashes while gaming lately. When I am gaming my game will freeze, then the screen will go black, then the sound will turn static, and my PC will reboot. I have figured out through the minidump file that this
is being caused by "AuthenticAMD." I have tried everything I can think of to fix it. I have tried reinstalling GPU drivers, resetting my PC, checking for overheating (temps were normal while gaming), and disabling fast startup. I will post the minidump file
    here,
