Windows 10: What causes Realtek audio driver to not make microphone sound lound enough and resorts to...

On a fresh install of windows, neither my motherboard realtek drivers nor the default windows realtek drivers work properly when it comes to microphone audio. It sounds fine to me when clicking "listen to this device" but to others it sounds horrid. I managed to fix this issue, but more on this later. No matter what set of drivers I install they come with a 20db micrphone boost with the microphone set to 65 volume. Turning this boost off and setting the mic to 100 volume makes me sounds way to quiet to others. This is not normal because on previous updates of Windows I sounded perfectly fine a

Realtek Audio Driver Microphone Problems

I don't know what happened, but I uninstalled realtek audio driver to free up space, but I didn't know it would destroy my microphone's output and input. I just reinstalled realtek audio driver, but I only have the sound of my audio Output, for example I can listen to videos, hear people talking on discord and everything, but I can't talk? It says in recording that my microphone ''Not plugged in'' ? I'm using the same microphone before and after the Realtek Audio Driver is turned off? It shows me that only my ''Speaker'' in Playback works. One note, the microphone I use is connected with the same jack wire, so I could listen and speak. Please help me, if you don't have an answer at least tell me...

Realtek Audio Driver Microphone Problems

Try disconnecting and reconnecting the microphone. See if a popup appears asking which device you have connected.

If it persists:

Usually, the Realtek audio driver comes with the Realtek Audio Manager or Realtek Audio Console, which is hidden in the system tray, but maybe it can also be opened from the Control Panel.

Open the Realtek Audio Manager/Console and look for your computer's connector settings. With the microphone connected, click on the connector for the microphone and specify that you have a microphone connected.

I had the realtek error when using the installer, so I did these step and It Worked

1.Go Open up device manager
2. Go under sound,video, and game controllers
3. Find Realtek High Definition Audio
4. Right click and hit update driver
5. Browse my computer for driver software
6. Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer
7. Click Have Disk and hit browse
8. Click on the Realtek HD Audio mod folder and look for win64
9. Click on the HDXRT4 and click ok,
10. Click Next and Yes
After it is done, restart the PC

You should be good then and also make sure before doing these steps that you have driver enforcement disabled.
