Windows 10: What common have edge with START menu? EDGE breaks the task bar

what edge has to do with the start menu?The system works fine until I launch the Edge browser. Once I start it, the Start menu stops responding and breaks. Restarting explorer.exe usually helps, but sometimes it doesn't and the menu can't start. Restarting dwm.exe doesn't help either. The issue begins with the Start menu becoming unresponsive, followed by the taskbar becoming unresponsive as well. This then leads to problems with switching between windows, and eventually, the Task Manager stops responding. Although the Ctrl+Alt+Del command works, the Task Manager fails to start. Windows 10, Edge disappeared from all aps, task bar and start menu but is still default browser

My windows 10 installation had some problems. It now seems to work but Microsoft Edge has disappeared from All Apps, the task bar and the start menu. It is still on the machine and fires up as the default browser. How can I get a task bar or start
menu button for Edge? Please don't tell me to look in All Apps and right click on Microsoft Edge. There is no Microsoft Edge listed in All Apps.
