We have a medium sized installation of Windows 11 22H2 systems, some of which are fresh installations and some of which are upgraded from Windows 10.Case 1 For the systems which are upgraded from Windows 10, when the system is on the lock screen prior to user login, the system progresses to the user login screen after receiving keyboard or mouse input.Case 2 For the systems which are fresh installations of Windows 11, when the system is on the lock screen prior to user login, the system progresses to the user login screen after receiving mouse input only.I have taken a test system, installed

Thanks, I can try this. But the real question is how to install a fresh installation of the latest Windows 11 version that doesn't end with a BSOD?

After formatting the whole disk I can install fresh installations of Fedora Linux, Windows 10 and Windows 11 21H2, but only Windows 11 22H2 causes problems. Strange.

I cannot install a new version or upgrade to windows 11 22H2

A fresh install of windows 10 or windows 11 21H2 works, but not for 11 22H2.

I receive a BSODs like KERNEL_MODE_HEAP_CORRUPTION or IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL during installation.

The latest HW change I did is replacing the graphics card to RTX 4070Ti.

I have upgraded to the latest BIOS on my motherboard.

HW:

AMD Ryzen 9 3950x

MSI Meg x570 Unify

32GB RAM

Nvidia RTX 4070Ti

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
