Windows 10: What different on Date / Date Modified / Date Create in Windows 11

Hi, I am confused by Windows Files Explorer. What is "Date" n Windows Files Explorer?You can see the pictures below.These files were taken on August 17, 2022, at 4:18PM, 4:20PM, and 4:32PM.When I open the Windows Files Explorer to view these files on the SD Card It shows the correct time. But when copying to an internal SSD, the tab "Date" changes the timestamp to 7 hours forward.The Date Modified tab shows the same timestamp on the SD Card, and Date Created shows the timestamp of the time when I copied to the HDD. I understand this.But the question is why the tab "Date" is showing 7 hours

Why does Windows show different "date created" and "date modified"

Hello, why does WIndows explorer show a different "date created" and "date modified" for files? than what is in the properties of the file? The below screenshot has a modified and a created date. But they are very different from the dates I see if I look
at the properties of the file. Looks like windows takes the date I copied the file into the directory (which is today) and makes that the "date created". But whats weird is my "date modified" is 5 days earlier than the date created. I think 5 days ago (when
the file was in a different directory) I either opened the file or edited it so my guess is that's why Windows says it was modified 5 days ago. Bottom line is I can look in the properties of the pdf file and see the correct date created and modified. Just
curious as to why Windows works the way it does

 

Replace Date column with Date Modified

In File Explorer I can right-click a column heading and get a list of choices with Date Modified on it which by default appears when creating a New, Folder. If I click the More at the bottom of that list I find several choices about date with Date [by itself] being the first, Date Modified not there since it's already in use.

Another point, File Explorer windows will show different column headings based upon the content of the Folders being viewed, e.g. Music will be different from Pictures, etc.

And may be necessary to click the View tab then Options then the resulting View tab and choose Apply to all Folders although it may not always work as desired, I use that to show Details in most all instances of File Explorer.

 

Windows 10: Date, Date Created and Date Modified

For what purpose is Date field in File Manager? It was default in my new laptop.

I tried to find reason why file date was not changing even though I changed it.

I had to contact IT support and they told that Date is wrong field.

I couldn't imagine that Date field shows something else than Date Modified.

During last 30 years in Windows world I have never seen this.

What is the difference between Date, Date Modified and Date Created?
