Windows 10: What do I do after I hit "paste all" in Office Clipboard 2010

Microsoft per se doesn't really offer any help anymore. Paragraphs written although explain things, but questions come up in the reading that cannot be answered because there is no "back & forth" as on Community, so thank you for your efforts to help people kinda like on a personal level. My question concerns working with he Clipboard on Office 2010 Excel. When I extract items from lists on Excel and copy them to the Clipboard I usually end up with about 5 items & when I hit "paste all", the page takes all of the copied items & puts them in one place on the page extending beyond th

Mostly OEM computers come with MS office starter pack preinstalled, if you had MS office installed on the computer in the past I would suggest you to follow the steps under the section

Pasting from clipboard

Thank you, The first suggestion worked. The second did also provided I did not click in the Paint window first.

I'd spent some time trying to work it out for myself but was fooled by the clipboard window always closing prematurely. So thanks again.

Also thanks to Frederick, although solved, I've noted your alternative suggestion.

 

Why don't all of the items pasted from Clipboard arrive at Word?

I have a list of items created on Excel from which I extract certain items to the Clipboard to be pasted to, I'm assuming, "Word". The process I follow is to pick the first item I want to copy by clicking on the number of the item which high lights the whole line item in blue, then according to the instructions, I push ctrl+c which results in the item appearing on the Clipboard. Subsequently I follow the same procedure with each item I want except instead of clicking ctrl+c, I just hit "copy". Soon, my list is complete in the Clipboard & the next thing I do is hit "Paste All" and that results in all of the items that I selected being grouped together and high lighted in blue. Then I see an option of two destinations (without names and I have tried both). After selecting the destination, I simply X out of the program.

After Xing out of the program, I access Office 2010 again, go to "Word" and when that comes up, the only thing appearing on the Clipboard is the last item I selected rather than all of the items. I don't anticipate the list on Clipboard being anymore than 10 items, so the limit of 24 is never approached.
