Windows 10: What do i do if i edited the registry and now when windows start up all i get is a black...

I was playing a game the past day and noticed thay my cmd is no longer working. So i watched a tutorial online and it told me to edit some registry. The following morning i couldnt interact with my pc and i got this screen

Black screen after 'Starting Windows' sequence

Sounds like the old... windows black screen of death.

Try this quoted from "VisiHow" article "Repair Windows 7 Black Screen of Death":

They, also, have some other options there, too.
Google search and you will find a lot of the "Windows Black Screen of Death with cursor" fixes.

 

Any way to edit the registry without loading Windows?

You will need to find a way to grant yourself permissions for full control of that hive/key.
Just as the "Trusted Installer" has.
You may have to log on as admin to do this.

I did it a long time ago, to get rid of & edit some hives, keys, etc.
