Windows 10: What do I do when my Windows PC won't start up like normal after removing old and unused...

I uninstalled multiple old programs such as turbotax, previous printer software, powerbi, anaconda, and the cyberlink DVD software. I wasn't using these programs anymore and they were slowing down my computer, so I wanted them gone to free up space and increase speed. After completing the uninstalls and restarting my computer, it just asked me to choose the country for my keyboard settings and then prompts me to troubleshoot or turn off my PC. I've tried clicking into all the troubleshooting options with no success. No, I didn't backup prior to removing the programs because I wasn't doing a sy

Unlink an old android phone from my pc

I go thru the suggested steps: Start - Settings - Phone - Unlink this PC.

When I first open the "your phone" screen the old phone is listed. Not sure if the phone listed is suppose to be selectable or not, but my is not. When I select "Unlink this PC" the phone listed is removed. When I select "Add Phone" the old phone still
shows. I have removed the old phone from my Microsoft Account. I have rebooted after unlink this pc but I still cannot remove my old phone.

 

How to remove the unused old device from account?

Thanks for the tip. This does not resolve the issue to remove the unused/old device from Microsoft account. My old device is still in the list of devices in my account. That old device is already gone for recycle ages ago. So I need to see old device
to disappear from the list of devices. Got it?

 

Windows 10 won´t start any program as Administrator

Hello. I´m having this issue since installed one of the latest Windows 10 system updates.

When I try to open any program that requires Administrator confirmation (that screen with the Yes/No question), this dialog won´t appear anymore. The screen background stays darkened and nothing happens.

1. Using Windows 10 Home (x64)
2. My microsoft user account is properly checked
3. I´m the administrator of the PC
4. Already tried do create another administrator user account - same problem, no success
5. Cannot start any program/service that requires administrator authorization (not even regedit)

Please help!
