Windows 10: What do i do?

See what happened to me was that I got bored with my old file explorer, so I decided to install the app named 'files' from the Microsoft store. but after using it for a while I was regretting my choice because it was very slow. so I decided to uninstall it and use our normal file explorer, but when I uninstalled it and tried opening my file explorer it said: "this file does not have an app associated with it for performing this action please install an app or if one is already installed, create an association in the default app settings page". now, what do I do?
