What does ‘do this for all current items’ actually mean?

My windows 10 PC is BSOD, I am copying my files to an external hard drive using notepad.exe in command prompt. I am copying my whole user file as I’m trying to get a copy of my appdata folder which is a hidden folder and thus I can’t view it in notepad to copy it individually to the external hard drive.I’m currently stuck with an unexpected error error 0x80070052: the directory or file cannot be created - the files are ODLGZ files which google tells me are ‘a file extension used by Microsoft's OneDrive application for compressed event logs.’ - I don’t use OneDrive so I’ve been skipping these

    :)

  3. "Recent Items" list vs Opening a folder for Recent Items

What does ‘do this for all current items’ actually mean? :) Hello all... I am not understanding how MS elected removed the list of recent files and replaced it with opening a folder to see the recent files. That is now a 2 step process because you have to close the folder. I used the "recent items" a lot and I miss it - I'm sure others do ass well.
The solutions offered here only are partial, they only add the link to the start menu / jump lists, but those still open an actual folder which then has to be closed. If you open multiple files, then you have to close multiple folders. Odd...
I'm not a programmer - but I'm thinking (hoping!) that someone around here may be knowledgeable enough to find a way to return the actual "Recent Items" list, without opening a folder.
I'm thinking I may not be alone on this one...
    Thank you!!

  4. What does ‘do this for all current items’ actually mean?

What does "A lot of items items are currently being deleted from your Recycle Bin" mean?

I accidentally deleted several GB of files on my Onedrive on my desktop.

Now I am trying to restore them from the recycling bin through the web interface.

When I click "Restore All Items" the items disappear from my Recycle Bin and I see a message:

"A lot of items items are currently being deleted from your Recycle Bin"

    What does this message mean?
