Windows 10: what does it mean when my laptop windows 10 goes into a blank screen theme color

Wasn't too sure what to put this under but when I'm using my laptop, sometimes it will either go into a black screen leaving me with nothing to do but force shut it down or a blank type screen thats my theme color..Could this be a sign of a virus/malware?My laptop is also kind of oldI tried looking this problem up but I couldn't find anything

Personalize colors and themes on Windows 10

Hi,

To assist you with your concern on the pictures being dark on Windows 10, you can try to play around with the colors and themes that will suit you.

Here are the steps to customize your color and theme:

• Click on Windows logo.
• Click on Settings.
• Click on Personalization.
• Select Colors.
• Make sure that the Automatically pick an accent color from my background is turned off.
• Select the color that you like from the grid of colors.

Screen goes Blank or colored while Gaming

Alright I did two separate tests.

The first one I did:
-fullscreen
-1920x1080
-4x msaa
-and the basic 3d test option burn-in

Second test I did:
-fullscreen
-1920x1080
-anti-aliasing off
-all 3d options except dynamic camera







I should mention both tests I did run for 30 mins each and the second right after the first. So that's a total of 1 hour of testing. No automatic shutdown+reboot, colored screen, or screen turning off.
