Windows 10: What does 'sending request to facebook.com' mean?

When I open a link to a page or software (such as my bank's login page), once in a while I catch a glimpse of this phrase (see picture) at the bottom left of my taskbar. What does it mean, and why in the world would facebook need to know anything about my bank login? It happens for other sites I visit as well.

why doesWinPhone Facebook show game requests?

Hi Kevin,

For specific questions regarding an app, you will need to contact the specific developer of that app. In this case, you'll need to contact Facebook Support.

The easiest way to do this is to:

• open the Facebook app on your WIndows Phone
• tap the ellipses (...) at the bottom of the screen
• swipe left to right to get to the "about" page
• tap on the "send feedback" key

This should provide you with a quick means to get your answer.
