    What does this mean in layman terms?


    Like many others I'm sure, I am having many failures installing Windows 10.1511. Windows Update offers no error code and sometimes it doesn't even tell me that "Problems were found while installing..." . So I had a look in the Windows System log using Event Viewer and, more or less coincident with the restart after the upgrade, I find an entry which says:

    "The server {784E29F4-5EBE-4279-9948-1E8FE941646D} did not register with DCOM within the required timeout."

    Does anyone have any idea what's going on and what the solution is?
