    What does windows use Limelight/Edgio for?


    Long story short, I came across a suspicious IP in network activity. Llnw Looked it up and was presented with a business called Edgio formerly Limelight. I heard articles of windows hiring them. My question is, why is their IP address in my network activity and what exactly do they do for windows? If anyone can quickly tell me it would be greatly appreciated.
