The Cport is not recognizing my docking station external additional monitors. The laptop makes a sound when the cport is plugged in but the monitors are not detected. Everything was working and the cport seems to be the issue. New laptop hp 17-cp3005dx PN/ a9fv8ua#abaHow can I get this cport to work the docking station. I just bought this laptop yesterday and nothing seems to work.It won't self detect on the hp site and it doesn't find it via serial number and PN. I have many error messages. Best site to download monitors drivers?


Hello

Anyone has a suggestion for a clean site where I could download proper drivers for my monitors?

I did found some site and all of them want to install a .exe program. I don't want to mess with my PC and install unknown software application.

My monitors (I got 4) are detected has Generic Plug and play. I'm not satisfied with the quality of the image since I update to Win 10. None of them is OK and I never had these problem with any Win update that I had done before

I would suggest you to Unplug and the plug all the cables connecting your monitors and check.



I would suggest you to Refer the article to check if all the settings are correct for the third monitor.

If this does not help, then you can uninstall and reinstall the display drivers and check.

Follow these steps:

• 
  Press Windows key +x and select
  Device Manager.
  
• 
  Search for the Display Adapters and expand it.
  
• 
  Right click on the Display Adapters and
  Uninstall.
  

Now download the updated drivers from the manufacturer’s website and install it.

Failure to load detection driver

mid driver install i shut down my system as i wasn't sure if the install manager had deleted the old driver or not.
I rebooted in safe mode, downloaded 11.4 and tried to install.
When it tries to detect my hardware, that message comes up.
What would you suggest doing?
