    What happened to my old Windows Photos version? What happened to my old Windows Photos version? : - Impossible to roll back? :( - Impossible to roll back?

    Good day reader!

    For my hobby I shoot a big amount of pictures that require some post-editing. This was done well for a very long time using the Windows Photos app version shown below at the bottom of the comparison image, by a simple repositioning of two sliders.

    However, a few weeks back my Windows Photos app updated itself to the version shown below at the top of the comparison image.

    This particular version makes it incredibly difficult to obtain the same amount of editing with the same amount of simplicity, which makes me want to be able to use the previous app version.

    However.. It seems impossible to roll back the current version of my Windows Photos app.

    I have tried utilizing the previous versions available for download at the following link;

    https://microsoft-photos.en.uptodown.com/windows/versions

    Unfortunately even the oldest version gives me the following error upon attempting to install the older package;

    'App installation failed with error message: Windows cannot install package Microsoft.Windows.Photos_2022.31060.30005.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe because this package is not compatible with the device. The package requires OS version 10.0.22000.0 or higher on the Windows.Desktop device family. The device is currently running OS version 10.0.19045.3448. (0x80073cfd)'

    It seems all versions there are only available for builds of Windows 11, while I am still running my trusty Windows 10.

    Dear reader, is it possible to roll back my current version of the Windows Photos app to the version that I love so much?
    If yes, how?

    Thank you very much in advance!
    Kind regards,

    C.

    Hi Paul,

    I am trying to restore the older version of MS Photo that was recently updated as the editing in the new version just Sucks!

    Following your instructions I "Go to Store.rg-adguard.net, and Select URL"

    When I paste the link https://www.microsoft.com/store/productid/9WZDN...

    Select fast and click on the check it says,

    The server returned an empty list. Either you have not entered the link correctly, or this service does not support generation for this product.

    Is the /9WZDN... Correct or is the ... indicating a missing part of the code?

    Thank you for your support
