  1. What happens if I use my W10 SSD on a new PC? (W10 Ver 2004.)

I built my PC out of parts in 2008, and it's now showing its age.
I bought W10 about 18 months ago from a PC store. It was on DVD, and I'm 99% sure it's an OEM disc. (I can't find it atm to double-check.)
    It is 64-bit, home edition.
If I change my PC to a new one, can I plug in my W10 SSD, and hope it will boot up and work correctly?
(Naturally, I will have to correct peripheral driver issues.)
Or will it refuse to run on new hardware because of a W10 licensing problem?
Perhaps it will run, but I won't be able to download any current/future updates to the W10 OS?
    (I am using W10 Ver 2004.)
Thanks a lot for any advice. I appreciate it.

    :)

  2. Installing W10 on a new SSD

Probably been asked a trillion times but I cannot find a straight forward answer.

I am soon to be changing my HDD for an SSD in my 6 month old Lenovo laptop, it came with W10 HOME pre installed with a partition for the drivers on the HDD.

If I put a new SSD in the laptop and then install W10 HOME will it automatically activate or will I have to buy a new licence as there is no key to activate on the underside of the laptop.

  3. reinstalling w10 onto ssd?

why not just put all in the ssd, isnt that simplier?

what's on the ssd? is there anything needed for w10 on the ssd right now?

are we able to reinstall on it, and the w10 on the hdd would still work?

' having it one place means'

well i looked at it again and it's not in steps and it's not concise

when was it last updated significantly?

i bet this hasn't been updated significantly or made better in any way for a very long time

one of the most important things right now is why w10 did this?

    does it always do this?

does it always happen on laptops with 2 drives? as asked in the reply

alot of the other questions asked in the reply are also not answered, so hopefully someone out there knows
