Windows 10: What happens if you restart your pc during a windows reinstallation?

I couldn't get task scheduler to start and everything there is to try on the internet i did but nothing worked, so I found out that I had to completely reinstall windows. While doing this I got an error message that said I had to restart the computer by pressing ok. So I did and when it restarted I got another error that said "the computer restarted unexpectedly or uncountered an unexpected error. Windows installation can not proceed. To install windows, click "ok" to restart the conputer, then restart the installation." So I hit ok as instructed but when i restarted it I kept hitting the same issue with the same message. I eventually looked up a way to fix it, which workedi had to turn on child something in the registry editor. Now my pc keeps restarting and everytime it restarts it shows up for not even half a second a blue page that is the download page. It says "Installing windows 64%

Don't turn off computer

Your pc will restart several times". So i just let it do its thing and restart as I went to bed. Now it has been 15 hours and the pc is still instantly restarting and is still stuck at 64%. I did everything I was instructed to do and it messed it up. Id there anything I can do?

MY PC has just statred to restart even during Boot and after boot, Please help.

if you want to change any setting just do it step by step so you know what might happen when your pc restart again and again

 

My pc takes for ever to shut down when i restart

Suggest cleaning up your startup list .There may be many services / Apps you can remove on startup which is not needed on boot or during shutdown.
Before you shutdown the Pc check what is running in Task Manager as a program or service in not killing the process on shutdown

Would suggest cleaning up running apps and services -Autoruns, StartupMonitor,HighjackThis,
Malware Scan - Malwarebytes,ADWcleaner, Combofix

 

Windows 10 hangs/freezes on Restart

If this happens even during installation, that means that it is probably a hardware issue. To troubleshoot the problem, I suggest doing the following steps:

1. Install Hard Disk Sentinel and use it to check your HDD/SSD for problems.
   
2. Use MemTest to make sure that your RAM is ok. Here is a how to - guide.
   

After You done these two steps, give a feedback of the results.
