Windows 10: What happens if your Laptop device is logged in to someone’s Microsoft account ?

I bought new laptop then mistakenly created Microsoft account with someones gmail Id and also registered my laptop device in that Microsoft account ,so I got panicked and totally reseted my new laptop now I cannot login to that account because recovery mail is going to that gmail id person ,now if he login to that Microsoft account and see my laptop device registered ,can he able to hack my laptop device or install any software into my laptop device?

Laptop not listed in Devices in Microsoft Account

Hi. When I log into my Microsoft account and check under Devices, I only see 3 out of 4 devices that I use with the account. Listed are two nokia windows phones running win 8.1 and 1 hp stream 11 laptop running windows 10.

My main hp-15 laptop running windows 10 is not listed.

I've tried the steps here:

Add a trusted device to your Microsoft account - Microsoft Support

to make it a trusted device but it doesn't make my hp-15 laptop listed.

1. Sign in to the main computer with your Microsoft Account.

2. Press Windows key + I to open settings

3. Click on "accounts" and select "your account" on the left pane.

4. Check if the option to verify your identity is available.

5. If so, click "verify" and follow the on-screen instructions.

6. Once that is done, begin the setup steps given in the article
and check again.

Add non-Microsoft device to my Microsoft account.

I bought a new non-Microsoft laptop. I am trying to add this laptop to the list of my devices. I cannot find a way to perform this function.

I received a response that I need to log into the device as an administrator.

I logged into my Microsoft account on the device. I saw no options to log in as an administrator. When you log in, are you not the administrator. If not, how does one log in as an administrator?

You can say that I need more info on the needed steps.
