Windows 10: What happens to the volume license/s when a VM with Windows 10 Volume license activated...

Requesting a help from the community, I have purchased volume licenses of Microsoft Windows 10 and activated in few virtual machines and using regularly, Few days ago, my system went into problem and I was left only with one option to format the entire system. The Virtual Machines got deleted automatically while installing fresh OS into the machine. I want to know the status of the 3 sets of activated volume licenses of Windows 10 which were previously used in virtual machines. I had no option to uninstall/deregister the license from the VM before formatting. Can those licenses reusable ? Is

i work for a company that still use Windows 7 and they have a windows 7 volume license if i use this volume license to activate a windows 10 will i be able use this volume license to activate windows 7 again

Doing what you want to do was never part of that free upgrade to 10 offer Microsoft had going

Upgrading from 7 > 10 with Volume Licensing is done by
Software Assurance.

And by the very nature of it being an Upgrade with Software Assurance, or any other means of upgrading a Windows operating system, NO, you can not use a qualifying license elsewhere or in a dual boot.
