  1. What has caused brand new W11 machine to lose wifi connectivity?

Brand new Windows 11 MSI desktop included a trial version of Norton 360. Wifi has worked faultlessly from initial start-up, Windows registration etc., and has worked normally until, suddenly there is no wifi - it just shows my Internet provider, my account number and password with a comment 'No Internet, secured'. All my other devices, laptop, phone, smart tv all work normally. I have tried disabling Norton and done the restart and cold boot, but nothing works.I've taken screenshots, as advised in other threads here, and would be very grateful for some help here - my machine is not yet a month

    :)

Randomly losing internet connection on a wifi network

Is that ipv4 pool for DHCP? I usually set fixed IP addresses outside dynamic pool (so above .64 in your case)

Other solutions: like Superfly suggested, new wifi adapter (USB solutions in your case), and found one old HP thread... uninstalling HP hotkeys worked for someone - looks like app was messing with physical key...)

Laptop loses wifi connection and often is difficult to connect.

My HP laptop running windows Ten has developed and annoying habit of losing the wifi connection. Often times it will not reconnect or it takes multiple attempts to get it connected. Many times, I can be right next to the router or to the personal hot spot and it will still not connect.
Many times rebooting will allow me to reconnect, but it is happening multiple times in a day. Any suggestions?

Randomly losing internet connection on a wifi network

    Hello forum,

Here's a strange wifi problem that I have with my computer: about every 5-20 minutes it loses access to the internet. I can still reach the local network. After disconnecting from the wifi network and reconnecting, I can reach the internet again for a couple of minutes.

DHCP is on auto, except that DNS set to a fixed address, another local machine. DNS does not seem to be the issue though. I cannot ping external IP addresses either.

The routing setup seems fine. I have compared the output of `route /print` when connected to the internet vs. when the connection is lost. They are identical and look correct. Same for `ipconfig`.

Other machines on the network do not have this problem, and this machine does not have it on other networks.

    What could be the cause?
