Windows 10: what has microsoft done or installed that is preventing me to view pictures

what has microsoft done or installed that is preventing me to view pictures. I useto be able to click on pictures / photos andthey all would be avalable to view. Now all I get is a white screen that is blank titled all photos. If somebody is going to make changes the courteous thing would be to notify folks what the changes are and how to proceed moving forward. aka prevent aggravation

File Explorer and viewing pictures

  Open File Explorer.
  
• 
  Click on View Tab.
  
• 
  Select Detail panel.
  
• 
  Now if you click on any picture or file you will be able to see the information at the top right corner.

How to display tile view for pictures in the File Explorer.

This issue might occur if there is change in files view settings.



I suggest you to follow the steps below to turn on Tiles view of pictures.

1. Open File Explorer where pictures are present.

2. Right click on the blank space in the File Explorer.

3. Then click on View option from the list and choose
Tiles.

Change view layout for pictures

I would suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it works,

Make sure that the "Always show icon, never thumbnail option is unchecked".

Follow the steps below to do so:

• Type File explorer options in search tab and enter
• Go to view tab

Under advance settings make sure that the "Always show icon, never thumbnail option is unchecked"
