Since Microsoft gave away the consumer version of Windows 10 back in 2015, the constant at least two per month cumulative updates seem to be an example of lazy, unfocused programming since Microsoft doesn't make any money from this free product. For example, in the latest update, it installed
2021-02 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8 for Windows 10, version 20H2 for x64 KB4601050 and then wanted me to restart the computer, while the main update, 2021-02 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 20H2 for x64-based Systems KB4601319, was still installing. If I wasn't paying attention, I would have restarted too soon and then never installed the main update. This happened before and I wasn't paying attention-the main update from some months ago never installed and never has despite repeated attempts to install it. The program should NOT prompt me to restart the computer after the update is only partially installed.

    :)

  2. Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
