    What if I do not want to enroll in two step verification. It is like you do it or else....


    How do I stop this. I do not want to opt in. If you're in your home. Trust your spouse. Your computer never leaves the house. What is up with that. I'm elderly and hardly remember yesterday. Now you want to force me to try and remember another code!

    I suggest you to turn off the two-step verification in the Microsoft account and check if it helps.

    Refer to the steps given in the link below:
    How to use two-step verification with your Microsoft account - Microsoft Support

    Note: If two step verification is turned off, you will have to verify your identity with security codes periodically, when there might be a risk to your account security.
