Windows 10: What if I factory reset my hp windows 11 laptop and sign back into my Microsoft account...

Every time I play a lag or just in general there is alot of lag and keyboard delay,it's really frustrating me so I am seeing if you guys now if it will fix everything

I factory reset laptop . Windows 11 account sign in asks for work account

My HP elitebook 830 (updated to Windows 11) had a virus. I factory reset it and now once I am trying to sign into windows account it asks for work/ school account whereas I was using my personal account previously . Need help urgently. Please keep it simple I am not an advanced user.

After factory reset, microsoft account is still there

I suggest that you add a local account first on your PC, before removing the other account. Follow the steps below:

• To create a local account on your Windows 10 PC:
  

1. Press the Windows key + R.
   
2. Type netplwiz, and then click OK.
   
3. Click Add.
   
4. Click Sign in without a Microsoft account (not recommended).
   
5. Click Local account, type a username, and a password (if you'd like one).
   
6. Click Next, and then click Finish.
   
7. Sign out of the Microsoft account you want to delete, sign in using the local account you created, and then remove the account you want to delete.
   

• To remove a Microsoft account from your Windows 10 PC:
  

1. Click the Start button, and then click Settings.
   
2. Click Accounts, scroll down, and then click the Microsoft account you would like to delete.
   
3. Click Remove, and then click Yes.
   

 

Laptop factory reset..with no Microsoft account info

I want to sell my laptop & do a factory reset but when finished it always asks for my Microsoft account info to sign in...I don't want that..is there a way to work around that ?
