Windows 10: What if my internet conncetion fall during the "cloud download" reset of windows 11

Hi, everyoneI want to reset my windows 11 back to the factory and, in order to do that, I have 2 options : using "cloud download" or "local reinstall". I wish to use cloud download, because my internet connection is fast enough, but the area where I live have some "energy dropping" issues, so I am a little afraid of my internet connection fell because of the energy question, which may cause some problems with the reset.Considering that, my question is : If my internet connection fall, Windows 11 can handle this by using some protocol, like interrupting the reset or completing the reset when th

In order to get clarity and to assist you accordingly, please reply with the answers to the questions below:

• What is the make and model number of your PC?
  
• What happens when you select cloud download option for reset?
  
• Do you get any error while trying to reset PC using cloud?
  
• Do you use Wi-Fi or wired connection for internet?
  
• Are you aware of any recent changes on the PC prior to this issue?
  

Please provide more information regarding the issue

Meanwhile, I would suggest you to perform a clean installation of Windows on PC, you can refer the section Clean install of Windows 10 using installation media from the article Reinstall Windows 10

Note: Performing a clean installation will remove all the applications/programs. Hence before doing that, please backup your important data at least on an external hard disk

Internet Explorer 11 Downloading Issue


The behaviour of Internet Explorer 11 has changed of late, probably after some Windows updates.
When I attempt to download pictures or software from legitimate sites such as Flickr, Adobe or AVG for example, I receive the “This file can’t be downloaded” error message. This did not happen in the past.

Most references to this problem suggest as a solution to reset IE completely – I tried this and the problem remains.
I tried running IE without add-ons and that did not help.
I temporarily disabled my AVG Internet Security software – no help.
I did a system restore, but no help as my restore points don’t go back far enough.

The only workarounds I am able to find are

1. Run IE11 as administrator
2. Uncheck “Enable Protected Mode” under IE security tab

Both remove the problem though I don’t like either.

It would appear that lots of people experience the same issue but I have not been able to find a solution, only the workarounds above.
Is anyone able to assist?

Step 1: Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Internet Explorer. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is
with your Explorer.

  Press Windows key +X, select Control panel.
  
• 
  Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons.
  
• 
  Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel.
  
• 
  Run the Internet Explorer performance troubleshooter.

Step 3: Clear caches and cookies

  Open Microsoft EDGE.
  
• 
  After that click on (…) “More action” option which is visible at top right side of the browser and you will see “Settings” option.
  
• 
  Under “Settings” scroll down and you will see a button “Choose what to clear” under “Clear browsing data” option.
  
• 
  Once you click on this option you will see list of feature, Select Cached data and file.
  
• 
  Here you need to check the option you want to clear and click “Clear” button.
