    What is Causing a Windows Installer Error 2708 Using Our Installer When the File Table...


    We have an issue installing one of our applications on a single machine in-house. Upon display of the Welcome dialog a 2708 error is displayed...The File Table does contain records and the exact same .msi can be used on other machines without issue.Initially I thought possibly corruption during download or possibly .msi sitting on bad area of the disk, but trying re-download and scanning the disk no problems detected did not solve the issue.There's no antivirus running on the machine.The Temp folder was cleared and we weeded through C:\Windows\Installer to see if we could find anything by e

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

    when Installing Windows 7 I get an error saying ""A required CD/DVD drive device driver is missing. If you have a floppy disk, CD, DVD, or USB flash drive, please insert it now. Note: If the windows installation media is in the CD/DVD drive, you can safely remove it for this step." What should I do to get Windows to install?

    Windows 7 wont install drivers

    i dont think anyone here understands what your asking either when its nearly a 90% english dominated Tech forum.
    Step 1
    reinstall windows from scratch
    Step 2
    install all drivers from the cd that came with the god damn motherboard *common sense*
    Step 3
    update windows
    Step 4
    install misc etc crap like flash java etc etc
    Step 5
    Install GPU drivers
    Step 6
    go back to using your pc without issue.
