Windows 10: What is causing my bluescreens?

My computer has been having issues with frequent BSODs of varying stopcodes. I've gone as far to reinstall windows and I don't think any of the drivers are bad anymore; but the BSODs are still present. I'm assuming that means there is a hardware issue but I don't know what hardware is bad or if I missed any drivers and I'm not sure how to read the minidump files. KB3163018 causes bluescreen in DirectX DXGMMS1.sys when I maximize video

Still have the same problem.

My setup:

• Lenovo W530
• Windows 10 64bit
• Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000
• NVIDIA Quadro K2000M

Just installed the anniversary update, updated my BIOS, intel graphics card driver and SSD firmware. Fullscreen applications like YouTube still cause a bluescreen.

Any suggestions Microsoft?

1. Do you get bluescreen errors randomly or while performing any specific actions such as playing a game or running any particular application?
   
2. Do you see any error code along with the message “DRIVERS POWER STATE FAILURE”?
   
3. Are there any external devices connected to your computer?
   

The usual causes for bluescreen errors are Graphic card drivers and Network adapter drivers. We can go ahead and try to update the drivers.

Hi, thanks for that information, not necessarily a good sign, it means there is no bluescreen anymore, in addition, do you still get bluescreen or not at all? usually, that error is due to the Graphics card driver, I suggest updating it first, and if you still have the same issue, can you please check the System logs on the PC so that we can further examine what is the root cause of the issue?
