Windows 10: What is Edge trying to tell me about PDF files?

Yes I know that Edge can display PDF files, and after being released for a year Edge could even avoid crashing when displaying PDF files. In fact I'm using it that way now, because the PDF file is coming from a web site.


Now, what is Edge trying to tell me about PDF files? The document is in English, Windows 10 is in Japanese, and Edge is in the twilight zone. Is it OK?

PDF Printing Problem With Edge

• How did you try to print?
• What happens when you try to print?
• Did you receive any error message?

Nevertheless, I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if this helps:

• Open the PDF file which you want to print.
• Click on the Ellipses which is at the top right hand corner of the Edge Browser.
• Select Print option and then click ok.

I suggest you to follow the below given steps to print the page.

• Open the pdf file you want to print in Edge.
• Press Ctrl + P key to open print option.
• Select the Printer and desired page layout.
• Click on Print and check if it works.

To search any words in the Edge PDF viewer, press Ctrl + F and type the desired words in find box in left top corner of the browser and search.

We suggest that you save the PDF files on your device and check if the issue persists. You may also want to associate the PDF files to Microsoft Edge as the default program to make sure that you have a default application that will open all of your PDF files.
Here are the steps:

• Search for Default Programs.
• Go to Associate a file type or protocol with a program.
• Select the .pdf file type and then click the Change program button on the upper right of the
  Set Associations window.
• Choose Microsoft Edge and then click OK.
