Windows 10: What is... ERROR: Invalid argument specified INFOMSG: C:\WINDOWS\system32\Clipup.exe Usage: ?

Every time I start up my PC I get a window asking "how would I like to open this file?" I select Notepad and see the following error message:

Windows Task Scheduler Error (one or more of the specified arguments are not valid)

I did not get any error messages when editing the task but I also faced the greyed-out tick boxes. You can get around them like so:

1. Right-click the file c:\Windows\System32\TaskSchd.msc
2. Left-click Run as Administrator

Did it only came up upon trying to activate your Windows System? The error was related to the ClipUp.exe which, upon researching, the .exe file is related to the activation of Windows. It is normally stored under:

C:\Windows\System32 and C:\Windows\WinSxS\amd64_microsoft-cli... .

If the error did not come back after the activation, we can consider that everything is fine. If so, please let us know so we can take the next actions.
